Nahid Ameen is a Registered Herbalist, Certified Nutritional Practitioner and an Ayurvedic Practitioner trained in Ontario. Nahid completed her Yoga Teachers Training in 2016. Constantly amazed by how a single herb can be used for many healing purposes and how it works on each individual’s health and wellbeing, Nahid decided to pursue a career in Herbal Medicine. She is motivated by empowering people by sharing her knowledge of Nutrition, Ayurveda and Herbal Medicine. In her Clinical practice, Nahid designs customized plans for her clients, using diet, herbal remedies and lifestyle changes to balance body type/dosha, and combating the health condition that is present. A typical consultation includes, health history intake, basic non-invasive tests, and collecting additional data from the client (blood work, urinalysis, food log etc.). Using this information a personalized protocol is created, tailored to the individual. If you are wondering if this approach is right for you, Nahid offers a free 15-minute consult that can be booked through her website at conscioushealth.net.
In addition to client consultations, Nahid has also been an instructor teaching both Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Cooking at an Ayurvedic School in Toronto. With 5 years of clinical practice, Nahid has assisted clients in a wide range of conditions such as poor digestive health, hormonal health (both male and female), food intolerances, skin conditions, improving fertility, and balancing blood sugar. Nahid believes in treating an individual as a whole, and not only the condition. Nahid was interviewed by CBC Canada and ATN Canada. Nahid is a professional member of the Ontario Herbalist Association.
