Herbalist’s Bio:

“I am a Registered Herbalist and have been a Professional Member of the Ontario Herbalists Association since December 2019. I undertook professional training so that I could heal myself after having been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and fibroids, believing that an alternative to allopathic medicine was worthy of pursuit before succumbing to a standard referral for immune suppressants and surgery. It was entirely worth it!

As a Clinical Herbalist, I have three years of professional training under Medical Herbalist Diane Kent (NIMH, RH). Prior to this, I undertook many years of independent study as a result of my first experience with Napier’s Herbalists in Edinburgh in my early twenties. This steadily grew to taking extended courses on seaweed and its various benefits, to studying the herbs of the Burren with Vivienne Campbell (BSc (Hons) Herbal Medicine) while I lived in the Republic of Ireland. Coming from a family with a history of cancers, mood disorders, autoimmune disorders and hormone issues, I am pursuing continuous knowledge in these fields to better support the women in my family, and the women in yours.”
