The Home Apothecary is a practical herbal medicine making course designed and facilitated by registered clinical herbalists Marianne Beacon and Megan Kendrick. This course will teach you how to craft and use some of the most common herbal preparations. Each class will consist of hands-on instruction in the preparation of potent and effective herbal remedies. This is a make and take class, meaning you will leave each class with a portion of every preparation we made, allowing you to build your own home apothecary throughout the session. Each weekend class includes a 2 hour plant walk.

This course will be offered in two sessions, each consisting of 1 weekend per month over four months with the option to take one or both sessions. By the end of both sessions, you will have over 45 herbal preparations ready for use, along with the experience to feel confident in preparing these remedies on your own.
